this hat can be worn in various styles.  The newsboy, slouch, slanted beret, the Aghani-Pakol, Beenie style, free-style ponytail.

 

two-inch elastic band 

size 10-10.5 hook

Wool-ease chunky Yarn color 127

Stitch marker

Create a slip knot around elastic 

22 sc around elastic band

connect ends with slip knot

apply stitch marker 

chain 2

skip 1st stitch 

2sc in 1st stitch and 2 sc in every 4th stitch

end each row with slip knot - chain two- skip first stitch- SC crochet in three following stitches

2 sc in fourth stitch

repeat or 4 rows

end with slip knot

chain 2

skip first stitch

1sc in ech following for 2 rows

turn work around chain two 

skip stitch 

sc in next three stitches

decrese in every 4th stitch for two rows

ending each row with slip knot - chain two- repeat decrease in every 3rd stitch

slip knot at end of row- chain 2

skip 1st stitch - sc in next 2 stitches -  decrease in 3rd stitch

slip knot at end of row - chain 2 - skip 1st stitch- sc in each following stitch

The Plan
